Do you love solving problems?

UNSW Sydney is offering a three day workshop (with 36 places in total) for Year 10 and Year 11 high school students with an aptitude for mathematics, a passion for science and a love of problem solving. The workshop is held at the School of Electrical Engineering and Telecommunications.

The workshop will include:

  • Engineering design challenges and an introduction to the basics of several electrical engineering disciplines; such as signal processing, electronics design, computer programming, power, control and telecommunications systems.
  • Tours of the school facilities, including the educational laboratories, and a field trip to an industrial organisation, providing insight into the importance of complex electrical and electronic systems in everyday life.

What: A three day exploration of electrical engineering

When: 10-12 October, 2018

Where: School of Electrical Engineering & Telecommunications, UNSW.

Cost: $125 - includes lunches and the cost of electronic components/kit (which students can keep), and contributes towards the industry visit field trip. Registering your interest is free of charge.
