Applications for the UNSW Engineering World Health Summer Institute are now open!
Join the Summer Institute and help make a real difference in communities in Cambodia or Uganda by repairing vital medical equipment to save lives.
You will be completely immersed in a different culture, living with local families in Cambodia or with biomedical engineering students from Makerere University in Uganda, working alongside doctors and nurses, and learning a new language.
Key facts:
- Counts for 45 days of industrial training
- OS-HELP loans are available to eligible applicants
- Competitive scholarships may be available to eligible applicants
- Open to all engineering disciplines and all year levels
Trip Dates: 16 December 2018 - 17 February 2019
