Do you have an innovative project idea that could change the future?

Have you got a great engineering-based project idea or a clever concept that you’d love to make a reality? We would LOVE to help you get it up and running! Don’t miss out on this years’ Projects and Pitch Fair!

This exciting event is hosted at the MCIC in partnership with EngSoc and UNSW Engineering and is open to all UNSW Engineering students who are interested in pitching their own idea!

$2500 in prizes to be WON!

The evening will be broken into two presenting sections:

1) Pitch your idea: New Student-Led Projects!

Time: 5:45pm -6:30pm

This is your chance to get up and pitch your NEW project idea. We are looking for students who have a concept for a new Engineering Student-Led Project or students who simply have a cool idea that we can help make into a reality!

2) Industry Partner Pitches

Time: 7:15pm – 7:45pm

This is a perfect chance to hear from various industry representatives as they pitch their graduate/internship opportunities and discuss their future innovative projects with students! We will also be giving away a prize to the Most Engaging Company Pitch!

Throughout the night students will also have the opportunity to engage with some of our current Engineering Student-led Projects such as Redback Racing, Sunswift and CREATE.

Prizing Overview

We'll be giving out prizes for new idea pitches with $2500 in prizes to be WON!

Grand Prize: $1500 in materials to kick-start your new project!

Judges Prizes:

- Most Innovative: $600

- People's choice: $400

This is the event for you if you want to branch out of your studies and broaden your team management skills, receive AHEGS accreditation, make lifelong friends and get a vital leg up with your career!

 

NERVOUS ABOUT PITCHING?

We have you covered! There will also be a free pitch coaching workshop delivered by MCIC on 15 March for all presenting NEW Student-Led Projects.

Only one member from your presenting must present for the pitch training.
