GlobalTech Alliance Robotics Workshop 2018, Sydney

The 2018 GlobalTech Alliance Robotics Workshop will be hosted by the University of New South Wales (UNSW), Sydney. The workshop will take place on 26th May 2018, just after the ICRA conference (IEEE International Conference on Robotics) at Brisbane. Participants at ICRA will be able to easily extend their stay in Australia to join the GlobalTech Alliance Robotics Workshop at Sydney.

Robotics experts from the GlobalTech member institutions are invited to join. The theme for this year's workshop will be "Robots in Our Daily Lives". The workshop will begin with an interesting key note speech by Scientia Professor Toby Walsh, followed by a number of scientific presentations relating to the topic from the GlobalTech members and attendees.

The event is organized by Assoc. Professor Jay Katupitiya and Dr. Mark Whitty, Lecturer from the School of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering at UNSW Sydney.

Participants from GlobalTech Alliance member institutions who wish to give a presentation on the robotics research that is being done at their institution, please email your presentation Title, presenter’s name and an abstract to Associate Professor Jay Katupitiya (J.Katupitiya@unsw.edu.au) on or before 22 May 2018.
